This new 30,000 sf, $9.5 million LEED "Gold" (projected) regional office headquarters for New York State Department of Environmental Conservation utilizes numerous sustainable strategies and is designed as an exemplary project for NYS. The building is characterized by light monitors providing modulated daylighting with active shading and controls. DOE-2 modeling shows a 42% reduction in energy compared to code. Sustainable and environmental finishes fill the luminous interior.
