The new 20,000 sq ft HRDC Cumberland Community Center consolidates all of the Human Resources Development Commission agency office, family and senior services in one accessible location. As the first LEED® Gold Registered project in the panhandle of western Maryland, the building services as a model for green building development in the region, featuring non-toxic paints, adhesives, carpets, & composite wood products, plus plumbing fixtures chosen to reduce water consumption by an estimated 48%.
